קהילת "דעת ותבונה" משמשת בית רוחני לעשרות רבות של משפחות, המרוכזים סביב הרב שמשון במנולקר (בן רחמים) שליט"א ויוצרים מהפכה של אור באשדוד. הרב מסור לכל אחד ואחד מחברי הקהילה, וגם לאלו שעדיין אינם חברים בקהילה...

במסירות נפש שאין כדוגמתה ובאהבה עצומה, מלקט הרב שמשון עוד משפחה ועוד משפחה, עוטף אותם בחום ומקרב אותם לקב"ה. הרב לא נרתע ממסלולים מורכבים או שבילים מסובכים ועושה הכל על מנת לקרב עוד יהודי לאבא שבשמים. כך צומחת לה קהילה, והדור השני כבר גדל בתוך אווירת היהדות...

בית הכנסת הזמני שלנו נמצא במקלט, והמקום בכלל לא מתאים לצרכים של הקהילה. האוויר חנוק למרות המזגנים, בחורף קר ובקיץ חם, בקומת בית הכנסת אין ברז מים לנטילת ידים או קפה, יש רק שני תאי שירותים שמיועדים לגברים וגם לנשים, והם קטנים ומביישים את בית הכנסת והבאים בשעריו. גם האזור - רובע ב' - לא סימפטי, ונשים שמבקשות להגיע נאלצות, לפעמים, לוותר...

והנה, האור נראה בקצה המנהרה: בסייעתא דשמיא זכינו להקצאת שטח במיקום אסטרטגי, ברחוב מיכשווילי ברובע ו'; שטח בנוי עצום שישמש את בני הקהילה בעשרות השנים הקרובות. בגיוס המונים שקיימנו לפני מעט פחות משנה, גייסנו את הכסף לבניית השלד. זה הזמן להכשיר אגף ראשון במבנה החדש, כך שנוכל להעתיק את קהילתנו למרכז החדש.

עם עוד מעט מאמץ – החלום הנכסף יהפוך למציאות חיה וקיימת, מלבבת ומלאת סיפוק... הצטרף גם אתה למצות "וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ", ותן חלקך להשלמת הבניין!

The "Yeshivat Da'at UTvuna" community serves as a spiritual home for many dozens of families, centered around Rabbi Shimshon Bamnolkar (Ben Rahamim) Shlita and is key in creating a revolution of spreading the light of Torah in Ashdod. The Rabbi is dedicated to each and every member of the community, and also to those who are not yet members of the community ... with Torah lessons conducted for years in Hebrew and Marathi and welcoming new immigrants from our community in India and all over the world.

With unparalleled devotion and immense love, Rabbi Shimshon gathers more and more families, warmly welcomes, helps them and brings them closer to Hashem.

Our temporary synagogue is in a bomb shelter, and the place does not fit the needs of the community at all. The air is stuffy despite the air conditioners, in cold winters and hot summers, on the synagogue floor there is no water tap for hand washing or coffee, there are only two toilet cubicles for both men and women, and they are small and embarrassing to the synagogue and those at its gates. The area - Sector B in Ashdod is also unsafe and unsympathetic, and women and children who want to come are sometimes forced to give up ...

And here, the light is visible at the end of the tunnel: with the help of Hashem, we were privileged to receive space in a strategic location, on Michashvili Street in the Sector E; A huge built-up area that will serve the community for the next few decades. In the mass fundraising we held a little less than a year ago, we raised the money to build the structure. It's time to raise the first wing in the new building so we can move our community to the new center.

With a little more effort - the longed-for dream will become a living and existing reality, endearing and full of satisfaction ... Join in the mitzvah "and you shall make me a home", and give your share to complete the building to pray and serve Hashem, our loving father in Heaven!
