We’re building a place for Hashem!

The Yeshivah Gedolah of Metzad was founded just two years ago, but it has already gained a name for filling a crucial need. It’s known as a haven where young men can thrive in their avodas Hashem, building a genuine connection to their Maker with joy and inner serenity.

It is also one of a kind in being a haven to thrive in avodas Hashem, where boys build a genuine connection to their Maker with joy, music,aninner serenity. In this regard we are extremely privileged to have our esteemed Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon Reb Refoel Kook Shlit"a, who's life goal is to infuse us all with fire of yiras shamayim and ahavas hatorah. His profound love and care for every student shows itself in hours and hours that he invests in us, into the late hours of the night.

The yeshivah is located in the pastoral yishuv of Metzad in the Judean Mountains, a setting far removed from the bustle and distraction of the city. It’s an environment that fuses a warm, communal atmosphere with peaceful natural vistas, allowing the students to focus on their learning and inner development.

The yeshivah started out with an improvised dormitory in a caravan; the local shul served as the beis medrash. As we grew, we rented a small complex to house the bochurim. The beis medrash, however, still remains in its original location – the yishuv’s shul. And there simply isn’t enough space.

We now have the opportunity to build our own beis medrash alongside the dormitory, and have decided to launch a public fundraiser. With your help, our beis medrash can be standing this summer.
