In the coming days, the government will be distributing corona grants to every Israeli citizen. You might have already planned what you want to do with the money. We all have bills to pay. We all have items on our wish list. We can all use free money.

But some people really need it.

Over the past few months, hundreds of local families have suddenly been thrown into the deep end. Jobs lost. Incomes slashed. Years-long savings disappeared overnight, while the bills – and the stress- mount up.

We have all been affected by COVID in some way. For some of us, it means inconvenience and uncertainty. For others it has been TOTAL DEVASTATION.

Hundreds of people in our own community are desperate for funds right now, simply to put food on their table, to keep the lights on. They need money for basic living, and, quite frankly, a single government handout of 750 or 3,000 shekel is just not enough.

But YOU can change that. If each of us who aren’t as desperate were to pitch in with our grants – this would make a world of difference for them.
