In this cross-community project, many Jews have united to establish a global fund-raising day to support the fortress of Torah, Libo Chafetz located in Modiin Illit, home to many well-known Talmedei Chachamim. For many years, Libo Chafetz has been the kollel where Avreichim who dedicate their whole lives to full time learning have found their place. Here each Avreich chooses what and how they wish to learn, “Iyun” or “B'kius”. Here, together in one Beis Medrash, you will find those proficient in Shas learning alongside expert dayanim, as well as rabbinim, teachers. Together they create a beautiful mosaic, united in their dedication to learning Torah... Now, a decade after the passing of the founder of Libo Chafetz – the unforgettable, Rabbi Zalman Yehuda Fishman, Z’TZL, who had incredible, single-minded-devotion to Torah – Am Yisroel is uniting to support this unique Torah fortress. Caring Jews from all circles, all over the world, are contributing to support this unique Kollel. ~~>> A group of generous supporters undertook to contribute an amount of NIS 2,000,000 in favor of the campaign, if we will do our share and raise a similar amount.
