Yad Tomech’s Fundraising Campaign: 36 Hours to Open Your Hands and Your Hearts

Hundreds of local Beit Shemesh families are counting on YOU to support them in their time of difficulty.

Say the word “mother” and what comes to mind? Someone who’s always there for you; someone who listens to what you have to say and cares about you more than anyone else in the world. A mother brings a sense of security and stability into a home that may start with clean floors and cooked dinners and laundered clothing but, as we all know, goes so much beyond.
Now imagine what happens when the mother is removed from the picture. When, because of illness or crisis the mother stops serving as that rock of stability and instead needs support herself. What happens to the home? The children? The loving, secure family structure?
This is where YOU come in.
Yad Tomech was founded for exactly this reason – to step up and fill in the mother’s role when a mother is unable to function. Our staff of trained professionals and volunteers provide an extensive array of physical and emotional support services, including: - An advice hotline - Homecooked meal delivery - Housework support - Shabbos meals - Afterschool playcenter

There’s a lot more. But all our help can be summed up in one word: Mother. Because we all know how much a mother does – and just how hard she is to replace. But we can’t do this alone. We need YOU to help us to help YOUR neighbours.
